NIGHTLIFE “The Prequel” Pt. 8 The Great Illusion

NIGHTLIFE “The Prequel” Pt. 8 The Great Illusion

I’m going to show you a magic trick…I’m going to take a service people demand, a service people ask for in order to socialize…then I’m going to tell you how important I am to it. While I’m at it I’m also going to take credit for inventing the wheel, as well as, creating gravity.

The problem with nightlife is the wrong people self-rewarding themselves with the wrong things. Most promotors are responsible for nothing worth being responsible for rather than throwing a party you may or may not have went to. Being the best or number one at something that would pop wheter your there or not is like wanting credit for breathing. Nightlife creates an illusion of importance to many eager minds wanting to make a name for themselves.

There are in fact many people who genuinely contribute to the motion of the party life, but that’s a very small percentage. Far and few in between actually hold a seat at the relevant table and most times the ones boosting and ranting about their nightlife ‘accomplishments’ are not those ones.

Nightlife is the new drug game for those who once did something. Ask a old head who was the man back in the day about 88′ and he’ll tell you 900 old stories about how he ‘used’ to get it and how he ‘used’ to be the man, now ask most promoters about their relevancy and I guarantee you they tell you about some old party nobody cares about now.

The old won’t make way for the new and some of the new don’t deserve to be respected by the old. Nightlife’s demise is the people who ruin it with ill-faded business and the idea of helping each other out tossed out the window. The magic trick is fueled by egos and a tainted existence to feel important.

Nightlife is a hustle not respected. Don’t believe in magic.
